Paul met many interesting people on the Bibbulman Track and below are some of them:
- Kiwi Traveller by the name of Quinnton, the rock climber asked to help him pass on a message to a Kiwi family. If anyone knows of a kiwi fellow that likes rock climbing, then call him. By the way, Quinnton said he can help you with some "kick-ass" anti-inflammatories.
- Yosemite Sam - a cartoon character with a big moustache. Saw this guy and he reckons each side of his moustache would be 10 ins. long. Looked like he would be more at home on a Harley-Davidson!
- Kim - did the track in 67 days, took a thousand photos: 700 orchids and 300 fungi. He pronounced fungi as "fun-gay". By this I thought he was gay.
- Gary Muir - the one time holder of the Bibbulmun Track. I have never met him but everyone I met on the track seemed to know him.
