Bibbulmun Track 1000

Bibbulmun Track 1000 blogs Paul Madden's attempt to break the current track record of 16 days, 15 hrs and 40 mins set in 2005. The journey starts at Kalamunda, WA on Sat 13 Nov 10 and finishes in Albany some 15 days later. Paul is supported by his wife Joy Madden, and friends, Garry n Beth Shuttleworth. This will be an odyssey requiring great determination n endurance as most challengers either breakdown before or early in the journey. You can track Paul's walk on Google Maps using a link below.

Paul left Brookton Highway at 5.00am after a somewhat difficult night of sleep but he said he will manage. The weather forecast for North Banister was max 28^oC and min7^oC.
